How many maternal or paternal uncles and aunt do you have? Leave it, how many siblings do you have? That will determine how many maternal and paternal aunts and uncles your children will have. How frequent we visit our relatives and what kind of conversations we do with them? Spare some time to recollect memories when we used to visit our maternal or paternal relatives during summer or winter vacations. I still remember my granny used to narrate stories to me before I go to bed. My cousins used to stay with us in vacations, but all that has changed with time.

With the increase in usage of social sites, there came a change in relations. New relations like Phone friend, an online friend and many other friends whom they have never met are there in youth's life.Why goes to others, even I have seen changes in my way of making and maintaining relations over time. When I was in school days, my whole world was around my bench mate in school and my parents and siblings at home. With the age, I grew and went to the hostel for higher studies where I learned that one should have soft skills to greet everyone we meet even if we don't like the person much. This made me a cosmopolitan person or a hypocrite, I really don't know, but it was the demand of the time.

I did graduation and then post graduation and I really have a long list of friends but among them only few are there whom I will call at the time of need. People came and left our life and leave impressions. Todays' busy schedule has made people so occupied that even life partners don't have time for each other and when they need someone with whom they can share their heart, they may not always be around each other. Here come these virtual relations when people found a friend and love in someone even whom he/she may not have seen, they naturally get attached and start sharing things.

Even our movies are not untouched from these changing relations and contracting world of relations. Do you remember, Hum Saath Saath hai and Hum Apke hai Kaun Movies where the movie not only revolve around main characters but also their relatives and their friends. Time duration is being reduced for movies as no one can spare 3 hours and also the story line and the number of characters. Todays' movies revolve around Hero and Heroine and their friends at the max.
